Pollock Pines is a small town in El Dorado County, 60 miles northeast of Sacramento and under an hour's drive from Lake Tahoe. This Californian community has a population of just over 5,000 residents with no excuse to feel bored. Fishing is also one of the attractions here, with trout found throughout the 611 miles of rivers and streams. During the winter time, try your hand at skiing through the rugged terrain.
